What a performance we had! 8th grade GATEways Ss wrote and directed original screenplays starring fifth graders. The scripts included some familiar fictional characters like Batman as well real people researched as part of a legacy project. Katie Price

Ms. Maroney’s 6th graders came to the McGoldrick ThinkCenter today to use the green screens. They added themselves to comic strips they created of historical events. You could say they were really “into” history. Bonus class picture at the White House!

First 3D print on my own! GATEways 5th graders are starting off winter a few weeks early by designing 3D snowflakes.

We’re prepping for our January Model UN conference by breaking apart a sample position paper. Students did a great job identifying the structure of the paper and motivation of the author. #ittakesmoretobeabulldog #diplomacy

Congratulations to the winner of the RBS Spelling Bee, 7th grader Dylann Davidoff! The competition was fierce, but Dylann will be the one representing RBS at the Scripp’s County Spelling Bee. Special thanks to Mrs. Krauze for organizing & Mrs. Price & Ms. Tagariello for judging!

Thank you to the Butler PTA for donating an Ozobot to the ThinkCenter. Fifth graders are creating themed mazes for the Ozobot and then transitioning to coding with Ozoblockly.

Thank you Mrs. Bethancourt for bringing your students to the ThinkCenter for virtual field trips today to practice speaking and listening skills. 5th grade traveled underwater. 6th grade looked closely at flight. 7th grade toured national landmarks. 8th grade explored Greece.
