Talent, Mindset & Culture. I’ve been on multiple national champion teams & I’ve been on teams that couldn’t qualify for nationals. Each team had enough talent. Not all of the teams had the champion mindset and culture, yet. Without those you have no chance. Prioritize

You want to become a coach? Skip the certifications. Go sit at the top of the stands and watch any practice with a good coach. Leave your phone. Just watch. Observe the interactions and responses to the coach by the athletes. Read the emotion, fatigue, and reactions.
