Fume safety today in the chem lab. Make sure your flammable fluids are not becoming dangerous volatile fumes. They can travel unknowingly.

Today, my honors chemistry class was able to complete a micro rocket lab experiment that I’ve been wanting to do for years! It has been so much fun this year working WITH my students to plan and perfect experiments. Such great minds!

From failed Hot Air Balloons to Dancing Oobleck, my Chemistry class is not afraid to TRY! What an imagination they have!

Impressed. Only the second project of the year, and the first project with power tools. I can’t wait to show off their finished products.

Bright. Chemistry class had some bright questions and answers while investigating properties of elemental families.

Color. The chemistry class helped to add some much needed color to the hallway with these element ceiling tiles!

Hard. My 3 EC construction classes did pretty well with our first concrete pour. This sidewalk isn’t perfect, but they worked hard and got the job done! It will be really cool to watch it grow over the years.
