As a high school teacher, high school soccer coach, high school flag football coach, and high school athletics photographer, I understand the effort and passion of our student athletes and the coaches working with them. But there is more at stake than just a basketball tournament

I love coaching and high school sports. That’s why I coach soccer, coach flag football, and do all the sports photography for my school. But my job is to teach. My main concern is learning conditions. Cancelling extra-curr sucks, but poor learning conditions are worse.

I don’t really use X anymore, but had to share this example of why it’s important to always push forward. Last Monday was the worst day of my teaching career. The rest of the week was filled with thank you’s, Ss wanting photos with me, huge, I love you’s, and so much joy.
