Steve Cohen has invested - not only on the roster - but throughout the organization (pitching lab, analysts, tech) and has celebrated the club's history far more than the Wilpons ever did.

Seriously, the few times the Mets have been good in my lifetime, during the playoff run I was solely focused on the Mets winning. Not once did I think about the Braves or Phillies (or their fans) or any other team unless we were playing them. These people are super weird!!

Had a lovely rant so posting it here too. Building the org from within & spending when he needed to was always Cohens plan…he just couldnt rebuild a terrible farm system in 2 yrs, so he over-spent & it didnt work. Ppl need to calm down, or scrutinize others who’ve done the same

A helpful stat for when Braves fans come after you (because as we all know they have nothing better to do but argue with Mets fans): NLDS Series losses in franchise history: Atlanta Braves - 11 New York Mets - zero

The Atlanta Braves when the Orioles and Dodgers thought they were gonna be the only 100-win teams to lose an LDS series this year:

Huge congrats to my Alma Mater!! 24 years is a long time. We were so close in 2005 when I was on the team, and I know there were a bunch of other close calls as well, but these kids broke the streak. Hope they enjoy every moment of playing on a college field!!! New Hyde Park Football

BRING THEM HOME!!! Assuming Escobar’s willing to accept a role as a bench utility player, and Loup continues to drink beer in postgame interviews.

I believe Carlos Mendoza is the third Latin American coach in Mets history. Beltran was historic, going undefeated as manager with a 0-0 record. Then we had Rojas, who was…not as good to say the least.

A lot of comments yesterday about the plans for Metropolitan Park. The far majority were positive and filled with excitement, while some negative ones were from a lot from people who didn't actually read the release. 1) Of course there is parking. All structures marked (E) are

The big Mets news of the week: Jeff McNeil finally got a car from Francisco Lindor, per Garrett Parcell, one of McNeil’s agents at Paragon Sports. In May 2022, Lindor offhandedly promised McNeil a car if he won the batting title. Then McNeil did. Now, he gets a new Ford Bronco.
