We were hugely privileged to welcome Graeme Binnie on Tuesday this week. He told our S3 CDT learners about his career, about life at West Lothian College and told us how woodwork saved his life! We hope for more interactions like this with Graeme and his colleagues in the future!

Can anyone at Police Scotland explain why a bunch of protesters are allowed to block the footway in an attempt to intimidate and harass patients and staff outside the QEUH right now? Easily 100 of them, holding candles/pyrotechnics.

One option is to vote against the deal. But here’s why:

The level of debt the Wild Sheep plan for Motherwell FC is likely to incur could put the entire future of the club in jeopardy. The numbers don’t stack up. The excessive spend won’t return profit. The focuses show a complete lack of understanding of the club. It has to be no.

We’ve got journalists presenting a deeper approach to due diligence than the people trying to buy the club… Tell me this isn’t any more than a play thing for them.

Voted reject to the “investment” proposal. Motherwell FC is safest in the hands of the fans, and The Well Society is the best vehicle for us to maintain this.

I voted reject. Football is more than a balance sheet. I want a club that myself and my family can continue to fall in love with in the future. Let’s grow on our own terms.

A fantastic thread with many highlights. Must admit that while I always understand short-term hopes for investment, the view in this debate that fan-ownership hasn't worked was mind-boggling. It's in black and white it has been a huge success, even allowing for some recent bumps.

It’s time to ban Jim McMahon. A man who has brought disrepute to the club through this entire process. An embarrassing end to an embarrassing period for this club.

It’s #ScotAppWeek25 and to celebrate we took a group of young people to West Lothian College where Graeme Binnie taught them some joinery skills. The college is often the starting place for apprentice joiners and tradespeople. A great experience for our Armadale Academy learners!
