The second read of the summer finished. Sathnam Sanghera’s ‘Empireland’ is a nuanced and personal look at imperialism. Having taught in Wolverhampton for three years and now Singapore for three, I’ve got a lot to think about. Looking forward to sharing extracts with Y12 in August.
