Year 6 loved todays Waterstones author event with SF Said . The children were such big fans of Varjak Paw that they were desperate to hear about Tyger. They shared how inspired and motivated they felt after the talk. A huge thank you for giving the children this experience.

Year 6 loved our Waterstones author event with @MazAuthor @MaryAliceEvans today. She had us hooked and we loved hearing about her influences and top tips for writing. We also loved her shed (which she painted herself!!) thanks so much for giving our children this experience

Year 6 loved todays author event with Hannah Gold - here sometimes 🤩 and Levi Pinfold, hosted by Our Bookshop in Tring They loved hearing about April, Bear and the quiz. To top it off, the question we submitted was asked so they were thrilled to get first-hand advice. Thanks so much for the experience.

We used ‘I don’t like Poetry’ by Joshua Seigal - 'YAPPING AWAY' out now! as an inspiration for creating our own poems. We enjoyed playing about with words and the children loved performing their creations to their friends. Best part was some children going home and writing their own.
