A bit of fresh air to bring balance to the week...

Cheeky half marathon completed in the sunshine! Ran as part of the Newport Half Marathon Virtual event and raised money for BHF in memory of my dad who passed 2 years ago. great to run first 10k with my brother and last 3k with my daughter. #MentalHealthMatters #BHF

The challenge for Legacy Coding Club today was to program the micro:bits to behave as virtual dice - when shaken, generate a random number to be held as a variable, run an animation on the LEDs  and then show the number contained in the variable #team #100DaysOfCode #henleybank

Today marks my second year of working at this school. I've had 4 or 5 different roles here, but by far the best part is being able to take the time to congratulate students on not only their academic achievements, but also their growth in character! #Legacy #HBHS

2 yrs ago I ran my first 5k after attending c-5k group. This week I qualified as a Leader in Running Fitness to be able to pay it forward and help the next few groups. I'm neither fast nor fit, but I am insured for £50m in case some fool follows my advice!

Highlight of the week was having visitors back in school - We actually got to shake hands! I know some are still nervous of such a reckless act, but I have genuinely missed such a simple act that no only greets, but welcomes.
