A1: student safety or repeated causes for disrupting the learning environment. Changes behavior if it is a child that is never in trouble but made a poor choice, does not change behavior otherwise. #EduGladiators

A2: I think the old views of suspension think it will stop the behavior. I think sometimes we look at it as a break for the T and other Ss. We need to be building relationships, implementing interventions. #EduGladiators

A3: Ps think suspensions will change behavior. However, It communicates to Ps we don’t know what else to do at school. It conveys we have given up and want the S out of the building and that it is Ps reaponsibilty to change the behavior now. #EduGladiators

A4: it has to be a team effort. Come up with a plan involving Ps, S, T. Be proactive. Figure out the WHY. Relationships. #EduGladiators
