It’s Heritage weekend in Paris. There is free admission to museums and other public places. Despite the rain, crowds of people came out to enjoy the day. So much to see and do. We are off to Italy tomorrow !

We learned so much during our tour of the Vatican this morning. The history surrounding Michelangelo’s Last Judgement was remarkable. We look forward to attending the Pope’s audience tomorrow.

Thousands were in attendance at today’s papal audience. The Pope spoke about following Jesus by serving others, just like St. Stephen did. A powerful message.

Nice mural in front of the elementary school in Monteleone di Puglia, my wife’s home town. The caption reads: “ se vuoi la pace educa alla pace.” Which means : if you want peace, teach about peace. It’s so true !

Proud to stand with our St. Paschal Baylon Parish RCIA catechumens as they participated in the Rite of Enrolment with Bishop Kirkpatrick at St. Claire of Assisi Church. They will become new members of our Catholic faith during the Easter Vigil.

It’s almost sundown. The new fire has been lit. The Easter Vigil begins at St. Paschal Baylon Church. “Christ is our Light.” During this liturgy we also welcome our catechumens to the Catholic faith. Happy Easter everyone !

After a two year pause, we spent a beautiful day celebrating the Feast of the Assumption at St. Paschal Baylon Parish with Mass, a procession and crowning of Mary, followed by food and entertainment. It was a day of prayer and reconnecting with friends!

Yesterday was a joyful day for our family as we celebrated the wedding of our eldest son and his wonderful bride !

Our parish of St. Paschal Baylon in Thornhill continued a sixty year tradition by celebrating the Feast of the Assumption yesterday. Many people came from far and wide to pray and enjoy good food and entertainment. A wonderful event ! ⁦Archdiocese of Toronto⁩
