To finish off learning about stress, students are learning about ways to relax. One way is through the arts, so we’re all following along with a video tutorial to make a beautiful painting! They’re coming out so good, and we’ll have the finished pieces tomorrow!

To finish off learning about stress, we finished our beautiful paintings and enjoyed a chocolate fountain for Foodsy Friday! Students are already asking if they can do painting again!

Students loved painting when we were learning about stress, and they asked if they could do it again, so for part of this week we will be learning about creativity, allowing students to strengthen their unique problem solving skills and learn how creativity affects the brain!

The PHS Paranormal Society’s field trip is underway! First, we visited the Princess Anne Police Department. While there, we learned it’s history, saw the rooms, and even got the opportunity to conduct a little paranormal investigation! Amanda Krantz PHS Warriors

For the second part of our field trip, the PHS Paranormal Society ventured onto a Pocomoke State Park trail to find, investigate, and discuss the history behind an old family cemetery! Amanda Krantz PHS Warriors

After finishing our time at the Pocomoke State Parks, PHS Paranormal Society finished its field trip at the Cypress Park right in town, known for many urban legends and hauntings. It was a beautiful day filled with amazing experiences! Amanda Krantz PHS Warriors

Sushi is back by popular demand for Foodsy Friday! Additionally, students are also trying takoyaki for the first time, a popular Asian street food!

To finish off the semester, Psychology students are learning about the biology of the brain, and what better way to learn about the parts of a neuron than with candy?

Today is the last Foodsy Friday for my 1st block class. They asked for steak, so steak they got, in addition to some sides too. As always, it’s wonderful watching everyone working and learning together as they make a meal!

The final Foodsy Friday is here with my 4th block class. One student always wanted to do a seafood boil, and the other students were on board, so we did it! It came out amazingly!

Anime Club and Paranormal Society have grown! In Anime Club, students decided to start watching Haikyuu!!, an anime that follows a boy determined to become a great volleyball player! In Paranormal Society, students work together in a game to find "anamolies" in a haunted house.

It may not be Tuesday, but we're having tacos for Foodsy Friday this week after students completed their quiz!

Today in Psychology we learned about the various parts of the neuron with candy!

Today, students discussed the positive and negative impacts of Virtual Reality in Technological Issues Impact class. Students and teachers alike got to learn from one another and had some hands-on experiences with VR! Paul M. Becker

After finishing their quiz for the week, psychology students had chicken and fries for Foodsy Friday, improving their air-frying skills, and then played against one another in Mario kart. A good end to the week!

Today is the first day of Afterschool Academy and High School Esports and Gaming is here! After conferencing one-on-one and working on some classwork, students pick from a variety of consoles, from the Wii and PS4 to the Switch and Oculus Quest 2! There's something for everyone!

Variety is the spice of life. As Psychology students work on a sleep disorder diagnosis activity, they have the option to move around and scan QR codes or access the sleep study patient videos in their seat via Schoology. Either way, students get to apply what they’ve learned!

For American Education Week my parents came to watch me teach and meet all of my amazing students. My parents were huge inspirations for my love of learning and teaching, so it was fun to show them what they helped create!

This week in #Psychology we learned about Positive Psychology and how practicing gratitude is a wonderful happiness booster. Students then had the opportunity to put what they learned to use and wrote some thank you cards to those special to them!
