Woke up this morning like my mental health was run over by a train. Things will be ok, tho. They always are.

A great 9-mile hike. This was one of the most beautiful trails I've hiked. Absolutely stunning views. Making to the beach was the cherry on top.

Truth be told, I have to stay sober. I can't ever say I won't relapse, but I know I don't have another recovery in me. I will do what's necessary to protect my #sobriety . That's now & forever. Most importantly...One day at a time.

About 10 months into my #sobriety journey , I did feel like I was rushing to make things right. I was close to a relapse. Once I realized I couldn't do it alone, I leaned on my sponsor more & on some of the guys in the fellowship. I'm glad I did.
