Last month, Mpala staff and researchers had the pleasure of hearing University of Glasgow students share their research conducted over two weeks at Mpala, as part of a course on Ecology and Conservation of African Ecosystems!


Last month, Sam Kiuna and Chrispin Odhiambo participated in the Second Phase of the Wildlife Research & Training Institute National Wildlife Census. They conducted aerial surveys over Laikipia-Isiolo-Samburu-Meru-Marsabit to support wildlife monitoring and ongoing conservation initiatives. #Count2Conserve.

From the 20th-23rd of January, Mpala hosted a delegation from Princeton University. The team also participated in enriching dialogues at the United Nations and Kenya Wildlife Service headquarters, highlighting the powerful intersection of conservation, policy, and global environmental efforts.
