Amazing research by Meg Crofoot at Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior - so happy I could contribute in a small part to this with my camera.
I'm honored that our (Dr. Lehmann (WHOOP there it is!!!) Jacinta Beehner Kay Holekamp Mara Hyena Project) paper was featured in the PNASNews Journal Club! It was a pleasure to chat with Amy McDermott about this. Read more here: pnas.org/post/journal-c…

Today marks 10 years(!) since I submitted my PhD thesis with Ben Sheldon at EGI_Oxford. What an incredible journey it has been since. Here are some highlights, and the path that somehow got me back where my research first started:
During my time at Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior, and then UZH Science, it was also an immense privilege to work with a splendid group of postdocs. A real highlight for me has been the opportunity to follow their journey as they established their own research groups.
We warmly welcome our new junior group leader @cbehav Universität Konstanz! Great to have you in our swarm!
Yay for our favourite feathered linguists!🦜😉 Monk #parakeets in #Brussels squawk differently than parakeets in #Barcelona : #parrots have distinct dialects, depending on their city of residence, study shows.🦜💬 mpg.de/21165360/1124-… Simeon Quirinus Smeele Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior…
