Remember life is not always a sprint, results worth seeing often take time. Never lose focus of your goal and if you set off too quickly remember your strength of mind will take you to places you never thought you could go. The body achieves what the mind believes.

They said it was impossible. In 1954 Roger Bannister ran a mile in 3 minutes 59.4 seconds. How? He repeatedly visualised the achievement to create a sense of certainty in his body and mind. The world WITNESSED that it was the mind that created the limitation and not the body.

30 minutes of exercise a day can make you a genius! It can help sharpens your focus, stave off brain aging, improve memory and gives you a bigger brain. No matter what your level of fitness, you just have to get your heart rate up for half an hour most days. Happy exercising.

Consistency is the key to achieving your goals. Eliud Kipchoge describes consistency as motivation + discipline. He narrows discipline down further to a feeling of freedom. Consistency is not perfection, it is simply perseverance and discipline.

Don’t focus on the scales, it is not an accurate indicator of your health. Focus on YOUR happiness, energy levels and things you love and things that excites you. Whatever makes you feel most alive, just do that. Be active. No scales tell you the benefits of adding lean muscle.

Women were not allowed to register for marathons. Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to run the Boston Marathon in 1967 as a numbered entry. She showed the world that women can run marathons too. Boston Marathon welcomed women entrants in 1972. Take action, make change.

To truly achieve the best you need to have a laser focus on your own performance, preparation and recovery plan. Don’t fixate on how everyone else is performing. The more time and energy you focus on everyone else, the less time you have to focus on yourself. Michael Phelps

Never let anyone displace your interest in starting something new. Whether we’re 7 or 70 we all take a first step into the unknown to learn new skills and enjoy new activities. Push your limits and get outside your comfort zone, it’s the place you truly grow.

Discipline is the key. Motivation is a passing state, it fluctuates and is interrupted by excuses but discipline commands you tackle the training session, regardless. There is no perfect time or condition to start your training. Discipline and hard work will pay off.
