My main concern with this space is the success of one artist doesn't help generate success for other artists. There are 2 reasons behind this: 1) platforms aren't developing enough functionality for collaboration, and 2) artists aren't thinking enough about collaboration.

Art has always been this way — you invest in “art” rather than the artist only after the artist is gone. NFTs just make it easier than ever to invest in people, which is always a good thing.

@pegobry Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸 Exactly. Right before he died, Jack Bogle (of Vanguard fame) said index/passive funds were too great a percentage of the market and he really knew what he was talking about! There should be a shift back towards active investment. Passive has gone too far.
