Both 450 and 250 classes have had different winners in all 3 races this year (Barcia, Baggett, Webb, Nichols, Cianciarulo and McElrath). First time that's happened since.....last year! (Musquin, Anderson, Tomac, McElrath, Plessinger, Savatgy).

The switch from SX to MX is always disappointing. Was anybody racing beside Tomac, Musquin, Grant and Wilson? You wouldn't know from TV.

Why does TV rarely follow up on the guys that crash in MX/SX? We see these dudes splayed across the track, but never find out if they're OK

Thinking about guys who might be able to win a short Triple Crown main event, here are the guys who have won 450 heat races in the past 5 years:
