This is true for certain ppl. And not true for others. Ppl have different work styles... I got promoted 3 times as a remote employee. As an onsite only employee, I was promoted 0 times, experienced less collaboration and often felt exhausted due to long commutes. Paid less too.

This! DigitalOcean introduced me to the remote life back in 2018. Haven't looked back since! Definitely recommend trying remote at a company that actually does it and does it right.
