This. I've been Ange's man throughout it all. I've been mocked. Hammered. Questioned. But I knew that this is what it's about. It's more than tactics. More than game to game. He's building something that can't be beaten. Unity.

I’m gutted about Ange. Anyone who has ever run an organisation will know that results not going your way doesn’t mean you’re wrong. There’s more to it. But. It is what it is. And I think Frank has the temperament to ride this and keep players onside. That’s crucial.

Been thinking this for a while. Studio’s are on a low risk mindset. But they don’t realise what they’re actually doing is creating the biggest risk of all.

I’m not sure anyone comes out well from the MGW drama. Spurs expose themselves (£/reputation) Forest send a message that they can’t be a stepping stone which they might need to be in the short term. And MGW gambles of NFFC making it into Champs League within 3 years, unlikely IMO

The two attacking players I’ve been most impressed with against spurs (in that I didn’t realise how good they were) were Kudus and Savinho. Would be exciting. Need some craft as well though. McAtee and a centre back would be a great window IMHO.

This is industrial levels of desperate. Imagine having to stoop to this level to claw your way back into a competition that a League 2 club dumped you out of.

The next The View From The Lane Podcast episode is going to be 🔥. At least there will something to talk about in the international break. They’ll have to scrap the twenty minute chat about how Simons performed against Poland.

Seriously. How many times did we want to try and give Chelsea the ball back? The passing has been awful tonight. Sloppy, slow, behind the target. It's killing any opportunity to put them under pressure.

I know, Danny Kelly that it was suggested on the latest The View From The Lane Podcast that a win here might not do much. But the vibes rollercoaster is on the ascent and that’s what we actually need.
