This journey to the Newport Jazz Fest was a long one! After Samara Joy won top prize at our #SASSYAwards in 2019, the pandemic hit and she did not get to take the stage at the festival, part of her prize. Now, in 2022 we see her more mature and seasoned as a touring musician!
