In the light of Villa's 15th consecutive defeat at Manchester City, I was wondering what the record would be, or the longest non-winning streak for your club at a ground... I know Pompey haven't won at Bramall Lane since 1955 in something like 20 visits. Name your graveyard!

Farewell to Brian Glanville, one of the last of the golden age of football scribes. Did the full 90 and three years added time. Also wrote this, which I’m sure a load of kids read. Fitting that he left us on the eve of Cup final day, another much-loved football icon.

This was an absolute blinder. Have been going through the immense back catalogue today. What a career Kristin has had. A unique talent, who has put in a shift now spanning five decades. Chapeau!

You'd struggle to meet a better bunch of people then these lads. Outstanding characters, fantastic cricketers. Seriously, if you're anywhere near Lord's next week, you have to go and have a look. It'll be a spectacular day that could change your whole outlook.

So thrilled to see Jimmy Dixon take 5-11 for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏏mixed disability side in victory over 🇮🇳 by 72 runs, to restore a two-game advantage in the seven-game T20 series. Three games left. India need the lot...

There so many unreliable things in life. Politicans, news broadcasts, the weather, pension schemes... Thank heavens then, ladies, gents and all those inbetween, for the wonderful Robyn Hitchcock...⬇️ louderthanwar.com/robyn-hitchcoc…

Chuffed to bits for skipper Callum Flynn and his 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Mixed Disability🏏side - victory by 43 runs tonight in Bristol - and a resounding 6-1 IT20 series win over 🇮🇳. Player of the series: Liam O'Brien, and great contributions from so many others. Hats off, lads!🍾

The cricket between England and India was good enough, but the statistical nuggets from Andy Zaltzman on TMS this summer were no-less impressive. I reckon they must easily be in the top 10 percent of Test series stats ever.

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and all involved in Disability Cricket are saddened to learn of the passing of Bill Higginson MBE. Bill played a significant role in getting the disabled game to where it is today and he will be missed by all who knew him.
