Has anyone seen Comanche in person? This is a photograph of Comanche at the University of Kansas Museum of Natural History in the 1970s.

As the nation mourns the loss of a President George HW Bush, we remember him with this poster of Morgan horses participating in his inaugural parade.

I know I posted something postage stamp related a few days ago, but I just love this negative in our collection that features images of the stamps for all four horse breeds.

Are you getting all your shopping done? I wonder what errand this sleigh driver and unknown horse made them go into town when this photograph was taken. From the ED Hinds' collection. The photo was not marked with a location, but it might be Rutland, Vermont, ca. 1900.
