The barbs along the creature spine bristled. Although the general air smelled different from the lab, the lingering scent in the air was all too familiar. A growl rolled up the creatures throat, and his hind talon began to click against the ground.

Blood pooled over the linoleum floor, reflecting the flickering lights that buzzed overhead. With glass scattered over every surface, bodies soon followed. The beast prowled through the carnage of the lab, assessing the new surroundings, nearing the exit. [Dr. Henry Wu (Seen JWD)]
