October was a busy month here at CLT. We kicked off the month with our first ever two-day Escape series featuring Josh Arrants, were hard at work monitoring properties and finished off the month with a little Halloween fun!

Congaree Land Trust was saddened to learn of Rudy Mancke's passing. South Carolina has lost an incredible Naturalist and nature advocate. Rudy’s passion for the outdoors was unmatched, and we find comfort in knowing his legacy will live on through those who were inspired by him.

Congaree Land Trust remembers Ann Jennings (1940-2023). Ann served as CLT's second executive director from 1999-2005. We are grateful for Ann's leadership and many contributions to conservation in SC. Our thoughts are with her family and many friends.
