Early in my career as a school superintendent, I learned that if you want to get better at thinking and problem solving you have to surround yourself with people who will shine a light on your blind spots. That’s uncomfortable which is why most leaders won’t do it.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg may have been petite in size, but the impact she left on America was immense. May her memory be a blessing and inspire each of us to work toward a more equal, more just future for all.
