Displaced Palestinians in Gaza are desperate for food. Many queue for hours each day just to get some bread. The World Food Programme says it has been unable to reach those in need of essential aid: "Thousands in the north are completely cut off and face horrific conditions."

Hind Rajab, 6 years old, pleaded for her life for three hours. She and the Red Crescent paramedics who tried to rescue her, were murdered in cold blood by Israeli soldiers. This mural in Dublin 🇮🇪 by Emmalene Blake celebrates her life. Never forget. 🇮🇪 💚 🇵🇸

3. A Trump election would validate the U.S. turn to a far-right, autocratic nationalism - boosting that trend globally. A Harris election would represent generational change and affirm multi-racial democracy and sanity - a last word of sorts for 2024's "year of elections"

🔥Unprecedented & simply magnificent. That time in Nov 2024 when a haka led by Aotearoa’s youngest MP 22yo Hana-Rawhiti Kareariki Maipi-Clarke erupted in the House stopping the Treaty Principles Bill from passing its first reading, triggering the Speaker to suspend Parliament.

Watch this incredible protest as the indigenous Maori MPs perform a haka to disrupt the vote on a bill that seeks to diminish their rights. Imagine if Western politicians had the same courage to stand up to genocide and shame Israel in similar ways.

The Herald reports that 55,000 people attended the hīkoi to Kill the Bill. When asked why he wasn't listening to them, Chris Luxon said he was focused on improving outcomes for Māori, "not this stuff." By "this stuff," of course, Luxon means honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Incredible scenes today in Pōneke as an estimated 50,000 tangata whenua & tangata tiriti descended on parliament in an unprecedented display of unity to push back on the govt’s Treaty Principles Bill. 🫶🏼 #ToitūTeTiriti #Kotahitanga #KillTheBill (with thanks to The Hui.
