Seattle. Had such a good time. Even saw a family of bald 🦅 and watched them hunting for an hour. Photo is rubbish but the specks are genuine bald eagles over Lake Sammamish.

You can improve your heart rate by reducing stress. Four months into my new job, heart rate coming down (and staying down) for the first time in years.

Today after work, I will mostly be dragon boat racing. Hmmm…

What are the issues in education globally? Same as here in the UK from what I have seen in the past few months. Budget concerns, recruitment and retention, poor mental health (parents and students).

Long weekend starts tomorrow. I have realised it’s the first time in my life I have gone away during term time! Pretty momentous!!

Hmmm - should I stay this week or enjoy working in Spain until 19th. Tough choice!!

My office this afternoon. Not bad!!

Today’s journey to work took me past Benidorm. Never thought that would happen. Great trip across Spain over the past week. Asturias, Almería, Elche, Cumbre del Sol and finally Vila-Real. What a road trip.

Just over 6 months. Never been happier. Spain, Italy, Canada and the USA. Really enjoying supporting schools with their safeguarding. Getting to grips with commuting and office life. Health improved. Strange how things can change so completely and unexpectedly.

Last day in the office today before a new office in September. Guess where??

New type of training this morning. I have successfully completed a course in Preventing Bribery in Business. Phew!
