Today I hosted a “book tasting” for my students. They had a great time! This was a great way to expose students to different genres as we gear up for our 40 book challenge! #choices #welovereading #hceproud

Our first writing project was based off a read aloud called “The Best Part of Me”. Students wrote a list of their “favorite part” and then chose the best one. They had to then complete a graphic to sort their thoughts and then wrote a rough draft. Here are some final pieces!
