Year Two began making their plinths as part of their DT learning. They were so accurate when using the saws and glue guns. They are looking so impressive with their Alberto Giacometti sculptures on top.

Year Two took part in the money sense workshop on Thursday. They had impressive knowledge on how to use money to buy items for a dog. They were also very accurate in distinguishing between a ’need’ and a ‘want’ when you go shopping!!

KS2 Art Club loved making voids from plaster this week. They waited patiently for the plaster to ‘go off’ before they held it tightly between their fingers. It felt very strange as it heated up, then hardened. They looked like beautiful shells.

Nursery enjoyed their forest school session this morning with Susie! We found natural objects and created some beautiful patterns.

Year 4 harvested potatoes and leeks from the vegetable garden last week. This afternoon, we prepared potato salad with chives and leeks as part of our #11B411 Seeds To Supper activities. Delicious! REAch2 Academy Trust

Today Year 3 really enjoyed their first lesson of their Animals including Humans topic in science where they were identifying different foods and their food groups! They also learnt about what foods people ate in The Stone Age #alwayslearning

Today, year 5 celebrated their ‘Brilliant Beginning’ linked to their space topic. Children were excited to come to school in their space inspired outfits and enjoyed creating clay models of the solar system.

Today, Year 4 enjoyed exploring their Autumn topic in their Ancient Greece Brilliant Beginning.They enjoyed sampling Greek food, making Olympic headbands and learning traditional Greek dancing. #alwayslearning

Year 3 have been learning all about how to write instructions. We worked in pairs to identify key features and used thesaurus’s to improve our vocab! #alwayslearning

Year 1 have enjoyed going on a Digital Hunt around the school! They talked about how technology helps us in different ways.
