I'm sorry I'm depressed, I just did NOT bet on the total American collapse of respect for all humane and humanistic knowledge and literacy in my lifetime. Retrospectively, I should have, but I was under the naive impression people cared more. Even here. I know, I know.

I do find it very interesting (problematic) that far too often, black people are expected to accept integration of non-blacks into their black curated spaces, while far too often that same grace is not extended to blacks by non-blacks in their respective spaces.

confused about how one is supposed to afford hedonistic fun when everything sucks because no one has any money and leaving your apartment costs forty dollars

Along the way somebody was gracious enough to take a chance on you because you had the right attitude even if you didn't have the skills to match. It's only right you extend the same grace to someone else.

If this is the case- you can call, visit, and/or email the theater and request that they get it. Tell them that you and your friends want to see it there. It actually works, it's proven. We need you to do this. Theaters are guessing at what to show, they take requests seriously.

Our parents and grandparents and great grandparents secured our Civil Rights and voting rights for us, they did the hard work for us. All we had to do was maintain them with a simple vote every two years. I don’t think that was too much to ask. It didn’t have to be this way.

BUILD MORE HOUSING! (@dartagan_llore) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The city should eminent domain both of his properties. Fast track the permitting process and build a grocery store or retail space on the bottom and housing on top. It’s time the city stop catering to developers like David Brown who actively hurt the city’s progress.
