After leading 2-0 at Douglas Park, Greenock Morton contrived to lose 3-2 to Hamilton Accies FC, with the hosts also missing a penalty.
This was our last game at a ground we hadn't won at since 1966.
Not down yet, but for me this game relegated us.

Four Greenock Morton players - in order of teams that they played for.
Second one is missing one club.
Who are they?

An og, a Bobby Russell hat-trick and a Charlie Brown header saw Greenock Morton beat East Fife FC 5-0 at Cappielow.
This saw us remain 3 points behind Hearts but move within 1 point of Dundee - and we had two games in hand over both.

Following a disappointing defeat at Cliftonhill, Greenock Morton kept their promotion hopes alive with a 2-0 home win over Elgin City F.C., Warren Hawke and Scott Bannerman (penalty) with the goals.
This would start a five game unbeaten run.
