Our #pumptrack session is back for after school time this afternoon 3-5pm....come have a go on our BMX bikes for free. Great to have lots of people attending our #familyride today despite the weather! Multiple playgrounds & multiple #cargobikes to allow some of our smaller participants to enjoy themselves & take part in some cycling and some reclining 🤣👍

This chap learned to ride a bike with us for the first time whilst doing #bikeability at Mason Moor primary last week. Now he is riding independently and has a new refurbished bike from us to use across the holidays!

Nice to partner with SWVG Refugees to swap some adult bikes they can donate to refugees, whilst they gave us a bunch of kids bikes we can refurbish for local families. We will have a bunch of 24' kids bikes ready to go soon!

Our #youthbikes session everyone Thursday after school teaches local young people viral practical skills whilst getting their bikes fixed and safe so they can use them for school and other journeys. Big thanks to Rebecca Kinge from SouthamptonVS who met with a few of our volunteers to run a workshop to help us think about what our values are as a group. It was great to think about these things & we will be using the outputs from this session to help shape our future.

How many people does it take to fix a #balancebike 😬🤣 They got there in the end! Internally routed cables are a pain & we always do love a bit of team work! We love sharing knowledge & learning from each and always looking for new people to #getinvolved in #volunteering !

After riding over to #milkbrook all week in this weather one of our instructors, Pete, certainly deserves a coffee before delivering Bikeability 🤣☕ with pedal power. It's been a great week with lots of kids learning new cycling & life skills!

This is the FIRST RIDE of 2024 and we’re going to be kicking it off with a BANG down on the SOUTH COAST.

It's nearly 1 year since Sullivan Rec Pump Track opened! We are super proud of this project & very grateful to the support of SouthamptonCC & Veolia Environmental Trust for supporting us with funding & project management. Here's a little highlights video showing how much usage it gets!

Great first alternative provision & lunchtime session at Oasis Academy Mayfield. Great bunch of kids starting term learning bike mechanics with us, here now each Wed teaching bike maintenance, some dropin sessions & others for young people who would benefit from more practical learning👍
