Trying to understand and choose between the many local/offline (with sync) DB options I can use in a Expo/React Native app

I’m building an app to help you remember things about your friends. Here’s how it’s looking. So far it’s been quite fun to build! Expo / React Native / TinyBase. #buildinpublic

Shortwave is a very nice radio app for Linux. Easy to find and listen to radio - without the modern annoyances of: - preroll ads on Alexa (like the dreadful BBC Sounds & TuneIn) - UK copyright blocking - having to register and then accept 1,000 cookies

And here’s how the app looks today - quite pleased with it so far 😀 Honestly, Claude is the superpower that’s helped me get to this stage. Soooo often I would get lost in yak-shaving or some other pointless task. Well, not any more.

Publishing my first iOS app for review! What a palaver. Why do I need to publish a Privacy Policy for an app that collects no personal info whatsoever
