go somewhere great, learn from talented people, absorb as much as you can, understand what you like and don’t like, grow and move onto new things

For a large percentage of recent grads, the right first move in tech is to get a job (any job) at the very best company you can.

You learn what great looks like, bootstrap a strong network, and immediately get associated with the brand (e.g. 'ex-Stripe', 'ex-OpenAI') quickly.
