@zillasaurus They’ll have been baptised as an infant. So if they grow up and are unbelieving we would urge them to repent, and believe in Christ for the forgiveness of their sin, pictured into heir baptism. Otherwise, the waters of their baptism will signify the judgment they will face.

Church: Proclaim the wonder of the Trinity; the power & glory of our Father, the grace & truth of the Son, the renewing power of the Holy Spirit: All of Scripture calling us to repentance from sin to saving faith in Christ, reverence & awe in worship, and His agape life.

Revealed in the holy Bible we see the wonder of the Trinity; the power & glory of our Father, the grace & truth of the Son, the renewing power of the Holy Spirit: Calling us to repentance from sin, to saving faith in Christ, reverence & awe in worship, & the agape life of Church.

“I don’t like organised religion.”(?) Be grateful for an organised society of law, charity, education, business, health care, banking, sports, technology, construction, transport, & even politics. Jesus gave the Church its order & shape in its ordinary offices & means of grace.

Churches should do things with excellence…but excellence doesn’t mean big lights, sound, and band. A church of 50 that focuses on having a band and lights for worship will likely come across as lame. Excellence for them may be a guitar and a hymnal. Why? 🧵

Scripture is the foundation for all we believe and the fountain from which we daily drink. It was the heart of the sixteenth-century Reformation, and it holds the message of eternal life for ourselves, our children, and our neighbors. —Burk Parsons bddy.me/449vc4V
