It's really disturbing that Frisco ISD found that The Bluest Eye "contains obscene content." I think Frisco and many other districts need to understand the difference between "obscene" and mature. Sexual assault is not "obscene" - it is a violent crime. 1/2

Hope that ACLU of Texas Equality Texas Paulo Esteves Nunes ⚡️ or AbaBooklub will be suing. ABA because of the impossible tasks, others because of possibilities of discriminatory censorship. The Washington Post article today has good receipts for why.
