They have to suffer either way?! SMFH... Supposed to keep these children safe, listening to their fear, but no were going to traumatize these children throwing them into juvenile prison. They did nothing wrong, they're certainly old enough to make the choice if they want to go 🤷‍♀️

One day we will look back on what was happening in our family courts with the same horror that we think about forced adoption in the 50s and 60s. Politicians of the future will have to make official apologies for the abuses. We could stop it now, but those in power don't care.

"Their" apology, sincere or not, does not immediately, automatically, or necessarily repair the damage that was done to our nervous system by their behavior. Us acknowledging that damage is not us "holding on" to a "grudge." It's acknowledging reality so we can actually heal.
