“Well... I love you, that means I’d do anything I could to make you happy, no matter what that is.” She’d kiss their cheek and hug them so tightly. “So... how’s my daughter feeling?” She asked, testing it out.

She hugged her back and would giggle into the hug. “So... we should get you a sun dress too.” She beamed or thought maybe they could get her a cute skirt. Who knew? “You’d look so cute.” She added softly as she petted her hair. “I’ll buy you whatever you wanna get.”

“Yeah, we could do that.” She agreed and would smile so softly. She adored her so much and would cup her cheek. “Let’s see... blue would be best I think... or maybe a sweet green with sunflowers?” She asked. She wondered what color her daughter loved best honestly.

“Well you don’t have to, I know plenty of girls that don’t but they can be pretty fun.” She grinned at her, feeling happy she could help her like this. She’d smiled so softly and nodded. “Alright, let’s go buy them, then we can wear them as we wander around.” She offered.

“Absolutely, oh, this is so exciting!” She giggled and would take her hand, leading her to the dressing rooms. “You’re going to look so pretty.” She paused and thought about it. “We should get you cute jewelry too, you’re going to look so pretty!” She chimed happily.

“Yeah, I’ll go get you a bigger one, don’t worry dear.” She chuckled and would offer the next size up when that one didn’t work. “Let me know if you need any help sweetheart.”

She’d nodded and walked in so she could zip her up. “My sweet daughter.” She beamed and kissed her cheek. “Look how lovely you look.” She added watching him. She half wondered if she’d grow her hair out.

“Yeah, it’d be really sweet.” She agreed softly, imagining her with long hair. She sighed softly and looked to the tennis shoes. “We’ll have to get you some pretty sandals too.” She mumbled. “What do you think?” She’d offered, intending to buy her a whole outfit.

“You know what? That sounds perfect.” She agreed and kissed her cheek. She loved the idea of spending a girls day with her. “Thank you... for trusting me to know something like this.” She thought to the girl’s birth mother. She’d never accept her as she was.

“Of course I would, I love you.” She petted her hair and sighed softly. “You’re my precious daughter, I’ll accept you no matter what happens.” She added with the gentlest of smiles, kissing her forehead as she pulled away some.

“Yeah, we should... thank you, you’re such a sweet girl.” She added softly and watched her. She was more than happy to spend time with her daughter like this. “Hm, we need to find a dress that’ll fit me.”

“You’re right, we’ll find something to fit me, I know it.” She’d agreed and looked to her daughter in the mirror. “So beautiful.” She mused in a soft tone. “Please don’t pout like that, we’ll definatley find a dress in this pattern for me.”

“I’m sorry, I’ll try not to do that ever again.” She chuckled and kissed against her cheek. She took the dress and blushed a bit. She’d never undressed in front of anyone before, not for years so she’d politely ask her to leave. “Sorry, I’m a bit shy.”

She’s baking sweets again, maybe she can get some help.

She looked to her daughter and her face brightened up. “Hello Kaoru.” She beamed, happy to see her and would cup her face though realizing she’d gotten flour on her. “Sorry.” She laughed and smiled so softly. “You look beautiful.”

She’s tired but she can’t sleep. She feels awful.
