My current retired teacher road trip took me to Stuart, VA. This is the home of the oldest NASCAR race team, Wood Brothers Racing. I’ve enjoyed watching NASCAR since I was young, and I’ve always rooted for the 21 car. I met NASCAR legend Leonard Wood. #NASCAR #woodbrothers

This was a pretty good retired teacher weekend. We saw the Phillies on Friday and got our Stott bobble heads. Headed to Baltimore Saturday to catch the Orioles play Sunday. Camden Yards remains an excellent venue to enjoy a game. #baseball #baltimore #retired

Enjoying a few days in Amsterdam. The biking culture is like nothing I’ve ever seen. We enjoyed two lovely bike tours, one in the city and the other in the countryside. Loved the Van Gogh museum and walking the canals. Even found the same bridge I visited 38 years ago. #amsterdam

Visited Prague for the time. We took the funicular to the top of the city to walk the gardens, visit a monastery and watch the changing of the guard at the castle. We drank Pilsner beer at its birthplace, and watched the astronomical clock. #prague #retiredteacher

After 30+ years I finally made it back to my Alma Mater, IUP. I visited United ES where I did my student teaching before making it to Davis Hall where I typed my first lesson plans on some of the only computers on campus. Visited my old apartment and the Oak Grove. #IUP
