Rewarding students in a virtual world has it's challenges but today our class took a virtual behind the scenes trip to the Georgia Aquarium! My students have earned it with all of their hard work and participation. They loved it! #goodtogreat

In small group, we discussed the pre-writing process, and SS started by brainstorming. They wrote down & shared their thoughts with each other. SS also had the idea of creating a word bank to help them with spelling. They are 🌟! #goodtogreat #SpecialEducation

Our class has been reading multi-cultural books for Thanksgiving! Today, my co-teacher Ms. Ingram and I completed a bilingual read aloud called Gracias: Thanks. Students got to listen to the book in Spanish and in English. SS shared their thoughts via Padlet. #goodtogreat

Today we watched a BrainPOP video and read a book about the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ss enjoyed learning and discussing what an amazing leader he was and all that he stood for. We also discussed how these ideas are important in today's world. #goodtogreat
