Officer Michael Rokaitis remains hospitalized and in critical, but stable condition. Michael underwent surgery yesterday afternoon to repair injuries to his abdomen. Doctors felt the surgery was successful.

Michael’s right leg is still a matter of concern and doctors will continue to monitor and evaluate the viability of his leg. The Rokaitis family has requested we share with our community just how enormously grateful they are for the love and support from everyone.

Elk Grove motor officer killed by suspected DUI driver

We are deeply saddened by the news of another Riverside Sheriff Deputy killed in the line of duty. Our thoughts are with the friends, family, and Riverside Sheriffs Department as they mourn their loss. Deputy Darnell Calhoun, you are a hero and will not be forgotten.

Selma Police Officer Gonzalo Carrasco Jr was senselessly murdered while serving and protecting his community. Officer Carrasco Jr. was only 24 years old. The murderer was taken into custody. Our thoughts are with Selma PD, and Officer Carrasco’s friends and family.
