Scuba Pohatu Mata treads a fine line between kinda derpy and really dynamic and powerful. Nuva not so much, but I think the silhouette with the Nuva armor is really cool from some angles. These are my favorite renditions of Pohatu because they really zero in on the dynamism.

100. I think Antroz best captures what a canister Makuta could feel like. He looks like a lethal airborne disease crossed with Freddy Krueger. They really didn't hold back on this one. Are those wings or meat cleavers?

99. I am extremely down with this wasp-like build, with great yellow parts and an awesome mask. My only gripe is that this is not a Rahi. It ranks above Antroz because although Bitil makes for a less convincing Makuta, I find it to be more exciting and unique within Bionicle.

98. Many large, fanning pieces stand out. He feels skeletal, given the gaps and the skull-like mask. There's a consistent motif to him, not many lows but not many highs either. I felt Bionicles days were numbered upon the Mahri's release, Nuparu's a good example as to why.

96. Epic and underused colour scheme. I love the sharp, mechanical angles and stocky limbs on Oohnorak. Feels vaguely rhinocerosish.

95. Speaking of rhinos, this might be my favourite Toa of Ice mask, the lens is so cool and pairs beautifully with his axes. He looks wise, crippled, animal, and strong, all at the same time. Given they onlu get two unique pieces to cook with, I think they nailed this one.

94. Similar notes to Nuju, the mask and tools do well to conjure the diminished Toa/creature, something fish-like.

93. Brown, red and blue is such a dope colour scheme, I'd love to see this in person someday. Love the shaping on the mandibles, has an uncannily refined tone that feels unsettling on a Visorak.
