All major problems in Kenya now are a direct result of bad leadership. The struggles in education, health, economy, and other key sectors are due to leadership that is characterised by greed, impunity and corruption, among other ills. We have the chance to change this in 2027, if

As we mark this Mashujaa Day, let’s draw strength from the truth of our history. When Dedan Kimathi led the Mau Mau to the forest in 1952, he was just 32. His deputy, General Baimungi M’Marete of Katheri, Meru, was 28. General Mwariama M’Kirigwa of Muthara, Meru, was only 24.

I today visited the 16 young people arrested today in Kianjai, Meru at Ngundune Police Station. These were among the hundreds of Tiktokers and other youth who were agitating for justice for the 15 year old girl who was severely scalded/burnt by a local businessman in Meru

To the Chairman, Independent Electoral and Bounderies Commission - IEBC, Mr. Erastus Edung Ethekon, please tame your Vice Chairperson Fahima Araphat Abdallah. Do not attempt to meddle with the elections. Kenya is not your ordinary 3rd World Country to rig elections.

Thank you, the people of Mbeere North, for your unwavering support to the United Opposition. Coming second with 15,308 votes against the regime’s 15,802 is a powerful statement of resistance and momentum. Let us remember in 2022, Ruku now Cabinet Secretary and openly campaigning

Since I was first elected for public office, as Chairman of SONU'92, I've been on the ballot in every general election, that is 6 times. I've lost 4 of those, but always been the first, nationally, to concede defeat even in controversial results. It's a matter of public knowledge

Thanks to the voices of Meru TikTokers, I was today deeply moved by the heartbreaking story of Mwiti, a 9-year-old child from Mwangathia Ward in Central Imenti. For seven years, Mwiti has lived confined in a cage, abandoned at birth, taken in by elderly grandparents living in
