What a beautiful afternoon to have our own little festival de voyageurs! We were so lucky to be lead by our grade 4/5 friends who taught us all about voyageur games and songs. Hé ho!

I'm just learning that there are multiple school districts around the country that do four-day weeks. Trainings & meetings on Friday. Probably virtual tutoring when it's needed. Someone explain to me why we all aren't doing this? As a teacher & a parent I love it.

Indigenous folks in 28 communities across Canada still have to boil their water to make it safe to drink. People really need to ask themselves why everyone in Canada doesn't have access to safe, clean drinking water.

1/2- Every parent, educator, recess supervisor, and daycare should read this article about risky play for kids. It’s OK everyone if kids get bumps and bruises. They will be OK and learn. Testing boundaries is how we learn.
