Great to meet Pétanque Jersey today for a quick lesson and to chat all things pétanque. I was really inspired to hear how the sport is bringing people young and old together and being truly inclusive allowing all to be active - true community sport in action #sportinjersey

Yesterday while visiting St Mary Pétanque Club & Pétanque Jersey I came across a holidaymaker who’d looked them up and got on his bike to visit them for a game as part of his holiday. Sport enriches our offering to visitors #sportinjersey (thanks to Mike Fennell for the pic!)

Jersey were runners-up to England at the Home Nations pétanque competition in Scotland this weekend - followed by Wales and Scotland. Congratulations to Jersey trio Geoffroy Buffetrille, Laurent Pellaton & Neil Selby - third best trio with 9 wins of a possible 12
