Winds is busily snoring on his couch, having finally memorized the layout of his house.

It's a groundhouse with just one layer but it's the right size for the main character of this story.

*snore.*

His ear flicks to a noise outside: a slight ding from his wind-chime. He's instantly up, eyes closed, and his ear swivels to his window.

He trots to the window, his ears still swiveling ever so slightly.

He opens his eyes, the emerald-green orbs staring out at something, but never focusing.

"Rain." he mumbles, though there's not a cloud in the sky.

He then trots into the kitchen, opening the pantry.

He pulls out a loaf of bread, some peanut butter, and some jelly.

And he makes a sandwich!

Jeez, that must be a good sandwich if it takes him about 15 hours to make.

He picks up his "15-hour sandwich" as it begins the trip towards his mouth.

{Oh, nooooooo!} {We're goin' down!} {MOMMY!} {...did they serve the peanuts and pretzels, yet?}

NOM!

Omnomnom. Peanutbutter-and-jellybits fly everywhere, but mostly around his face.
