I want to thank Michael K. Miller for a very detailed, comprehensive, and generous review of my "Opposing Power" book, alongside 2 others, published in the latest issue of Perspectives on Politics. His summary of my book is even better than my own! Open access! ♥️♥️♥️ cambridge.org/core/journals/…

I don’t always stay up to date (hey, I retired in 2020), but sometimes when I catch up, I’m amazed at what I read. This book is an absolute tour de force! Michael K. Miller is correct here: the book has made me think of democratization in a new way.
