Soon after Poilievre's election as CPC leader, I argued that he'd likely be Harper redux, but worse, as PM. Now, having watched him operate for more than a year, I think it's clear that he'd be Rob Anders doing a Yuk Yuks amateur night impression of Trump as PM, but worse.

Only the stupid will believe that in a democratic free market system, the Prime Minister has any way to raise rents or to reduce them. The market raised rents, corporations who own rental properties raised rents, and any attempt at rent control is a Provincial jurisdiction.

If Poilievre is filing $20,000 a day in expenses, and you donโ€™t include weekends, thatโ€™s roughly $4,800,000 a year. If you include every day of the year its roughly $7,300,000. Thereโ€™s no way heโ€™s doing anything that warrants those kinds of expenses. Heโ€™s taking stealing from us.

Clearly the wrong person for the job. Get someone who sees possibility, not limitation. Another example of a need for change at the RCMP. cbc.ca/news/politics/โ€ฆ

First-past-the-post centralizes power in a few well-connected politicians. Proportional representation gives that power back to you by giving you real voter choice.

Poillievre won't touch women's health rights like Danielle Smith wouldn't touch the CPP and Doug Ford wouldn't touch the Greenbelt. Never trust the Con's. Take it to the bank. #NeverPoillievre

If you can't convince a majority of voters to vote for you, then you shouldn't win a majority of the seats. It's time for proportional representation.

Against medical expert advice, Ontario is cancelling its wastewater surveillance program designed to monitor infectious diseases. If this govt is wasting a billion dollars to put beer in corner stores, surely, they can spare less than 1% of that to continue this program.

First-past-the-post doesn't keep out extremists. It just let's them hide within larger parties, influencing policy in the shadows. In a proportional system, theyโ€™d either be ignored during coalition talks or forced to moderate and compromise to be taken seriously.

I am deeply concerned about the 100+ Jewish institutions across Canada targeted with bomb threats, including several organizations in Winnipeg. There is NO place for hate. I condemn, in the strongest terms, this blatantly antisemitic attack.

The best solution to the affordability crisis? Tax the rich. The top one per cent of Canadians pay only 23.6 per cent of their income in taxes, enjoying the lowest tax burden of all of us. #Opinion trib.al/AezHFzi

Burning trees is not the answer. The regrowth cycle is too long and the energy of extraction isnโ€™t green. Itโ€™s a pretend solution. Real renewables work and are competitive. Focus on real solutions.

The growing anger across Canada isn't just about policiesโ€”it's about a broken system. With proportional representation, we can ensure a government that represents all of us, not just a fraction. Demand change!
