Attending Spring Seminar just reinvigorated me to help as many DO medical students as I possibly can. The trash “advice” that these DO schools give are so toxic. If you’re wondering why we feel less than, it’s bc it’s ingrained from the start w/ schools favoring $$ over all else

Last 48 hrs Ive been hearing all the reasons why universal health care in other countries sucks: high taxes, wait times, lower pay. All due respect to these problems, but we have system designed to make a handful of corporations immense profit by denying medical care to everybody

If you don't want to teach, maybe consider not working at a teaching hospital. There is no reason to be sighing or rolling your eyes when someone asks a question or makes a mistake. This is for doctors, nurses, dieticians, RTs, & literally anyone else. People are here to learn.
